In light of recent events and repoddings, including Captain Leon, I will be acting as Captain for the time being. I will continue to work with the Council to try to keep things running as smoothly as possible. I understand these are troubling times, but it's best that order remains. If anybody has any questions, feel free to speak with me privately.

Department heads, what is our current status? I'm aware you've undergone some shakeups as well.

In light of Howard's post and the discovery Sakura made about the previous crew, it is more than obvious that we can no longer continue as we have been, waiting to see which way the rat is going to jump before we pounce - if you'll forgive a feline expression.

It seems that our most immediate roadblock in taking full control of the ship is the Warden, the portion of Stacy's programming that hinders most of our actions. I understand that Neuropathy has been focusing more on repairing Stacy's damaged systems, but as I suggested to the Captain a moment ago, perhaps our resources would be better spent finding and destroying the Warden portion of Stacy's program.

Whether we trust her or not, it's clear Stacy cares about us. If we can get rid of the Warden, we may be able to persuade her to come to our side instead of the Daligig's, but the Warden has to go first. It would likely be difficult, and probably dangerous, but it's our first step. We may be able to remove it without the Daligig knowing - do we have an estimated time when they will be leaving the ship?

Not a lot of time to talk, so listen up:

Everyone, make your may to the nearest secure location. [Assume there's a list with whatever safe zones were created.] If you're injured or in trouble, let us know where you are.

All Comm and Staff and DH's if you're in a critical area of the ship, hold your position if you can. If not, lock down what you can and head to a more secure area.

Security, start putting together search and rescue teams. Right now, your top priority is getting people to safety, we can start taking back critical areas of the ship after that.

Engineering, I need someone to track down where the core of this god damn AI is, and I'll deal with it myself.

There are a great many religious buildings in The City. I suspect several of them provide places of contemplation and and an opportunity to practice individual varieties of spirituality. To be entirely honest, I am used to a much more social quality in religion.

In the Avalon Empire, the Church is both a major institution supporting social and intellectual progress and a frequent opportunity for people to come together and take heart in their struggles, both in terms of the war and more personal terms, with each other. We've often suspected our revolution would never have survived without it.

One of the sacred buildings available is a replica of the Basilica on the Vatican hill in Rome. While it turns out humans actually have scores of kinds of Christians other than Catholic, precise dogma is not entirely my interest here.

I would simply like to know how many of the crew would be interested in proper church services, were they available.

My name is Dr. Faiza Hussain. I, along with the rest of the Medical Department, have been working on the many cases of deaging that have been affecting the crew.

As some of you may know by now, the quarantine has been lifted. The deaging is not contagious and we have found the cause behind it. Apparently, a specific, 'melty' clock on XaXing was viewed by all who have been found to suffer from this malady.

The bad news is that, for the moment, we don't have a way to treat the deaging. We will need the artifact to do anything. It doesn't appear to be a danger, but I'm sure you know the histories of your friends and loved ones better than we do. I would rather nobody who is afflicted with this be left on their own.

That said, given the make-up of this crew, I'm sure not everybody who is dealing with being deaged has come to us. Whatever the reason, whether you didn't want to end up in quarantine or simply didn't understand what was happening, I would ask that you come forward now, even if only to the medical department. We need an accurate count of how many are affected, especially when we find the way to reverse it. Also, there are likely going to be times in everybody's life when they may need medical help. So it would be nice if the medical department knew what to expect.

If you have any questions, please ask them here or feel free to come to the medical department. Anything locked to me will be treated with utmost confidentiality. We take the privacy of those who come to us seriously.

[Added later]: Could a member of Command meet us in the Obs Deck? We have some questions we'd like to ask Stacy and it would be helpful to have someone from Command with us.

About fifteen minutes ago, one of the crew members... well, for lack of a better word, he mutated into a creature known as a Tyrant, and he is currently on the loose through the ship.

I know some of you are very powerful and the temptation to save the day is there, but please listen to me. It is VITALLY important that you all DO NOT APPROACH HIM. He cannot control himself and has the potential to cause some serious damage. The Science department is working on a method of bringing the situation under control, but in the meantime, DO NOT TRY TO BE A HERO. DO NOT ENGAGE HIM IN A FIGHT. STAY OUT OF THE WAY.

We've returned from LV-428. Stacy's intel was incorrect; we encountered hostiles, and barely got off the planet in time to avoid the power core going critical. Unfortunately, we weren't able to obtain the ore she needed.

We have casualties, but no deaths. Most were minor, except for one; everyone is currently getting taken care of.

My fellow crew members. It's been a historic week. We had voted in the past, but this is the start of a new beginning. For all of us, and I wish to thank you for all of your support. It was a hard campaign, but a well fought one. One that will only help us all against the Ohm. I will continue to strive to help you in my position as First Officer, and my door is always open to your concerns.

I wish to extend my congratulations to Leon on his victory as Captain, and I look forward to working with him to serve you. He has been an upstanding and hard working head of Security, and I trust he will only continue to be so in his new position.

My fellow crew members,

We have all come a long way, some of us who were early woken, have especially been burdened and hardened with the harrowing experiences and attacks upon this vessel. And we have held up admirably. In the face of these attacks, we are coming together stronger as a crew, and my hope that we will continue in that direction.

I have been a part of the Command Staff from its early stages and like you, have watched it change. While we miss our former leaders, change is inevitable, and we must press onward. I have worked hard to hold together our leadership in face of these changes and interruptions, and as Captain, I will strive to continue my work. I look forward to working with all of you, especially our soon to be elected Council Leader and members about the best measures needed to stop the Ohm, and perhaps to one day see the return of our homeworlds. We have suffered a recent setback at their hands, but we survived, the people of that world saw our courage and our strength. And we can only improve with further intelligence and training.

Good luck to my fellow candidates, and I hope you will let me continue my hard work to make this ship and her crew the hope the universe needs.

Due to GLaDOS "disappearing" a good portion of the Command Staff, I've assumed the role of Acting Captain aboard this ship. Under the current ship constitution, I have both the authority and responsibility to do this, and will retain command until either GLaDOS releases one of the Commanding Officers, or a new Captain is elected.
