About fifteen minutes ago, one of the crew members... well, for lack of a better word, he mutated into a creature known as a Tyrant, and he is currently on the loose through the ship.

I know some of you are very powerful and the temptation to save the day is there, but please listen to me. It is VITALLY important that you all DO NOT APPROACH HIM. He cannot control himself and has the potential to cause some serious damage. The Science department is working on a method of bringing the situation under control, but in the meantime, DO NOT TRY TO BE A HERO. DO NOT ENGAGE HIM IN A FIGHT. STAY OUT OF THE WAY.

I will answer as many questions as I can as quickly as I can.

I won't approach, but if containment is necessary to keep whatever it is from getting into someplace it can do a lot of damage -- to us or to important things -- there's nothing nonmagical I know of that can breach a wall of force.

That's good to know. I don't know where it is at the moment but perhaps you can be on standby in areas where crew members gather-- the obs deck, the city-- just in case he ends up somewhere with a lot of people?

At this time... I suppose it will be common knowledge soon enough but in the interest of keeping people away from him, not at this time.

If you know of any children, keep them secured in the crew quarters or somewhere safe until this blows over. We're taking care of it as quickly as possible.
