This is Councilor Kang.

The Tapestry has given us a warning, of an upcoming battle with the Ohm. It's very vague; we don't know when or where, only that it'll be soon, possibly in as little time as a couple of weeks to a few months from now. There was also an emphasis on sacrifices being made. This one could be very bad.

In light of that information, I am restarting the Warfare Training class. With Ronon Dex repodded, I am in need of a new partner. Chase has expressed interest already, but if anyone else feels they can contribute, or has a skill they can pass on such as archery or martial arts, please speak up. We will need instructors to help.

The class covers hand-to-hand, various melee weapons such as knives and swords, firearms, strategy and tactics, and I offer private lessons for those interested; I also teach axes. There is a strong emphasis on how to handle a multitude of nonhuman foes, as I myself am not human, and there is no guarantee that all the foes we will face in the future other than the Ohm are human themselves. It's important to be prepared for anything.

For newer crew members, I should warn you that the class is not easy, and you will get injuries. You are free at any point to leave and seek easier instruction.

It will be held in the Sensoriums. I will keep everyone informed as the details are settled.
