I did not lie when I said I am the son of Satan. My mother was human but I inherited my father's nature in the form of a darksoul, at first trapped within my body and then later merged with my soul. It is a demonic being of pure evil yet also a part of me. One of your crewmates, Mei-Xing, did not understand the intricacies of my situation and attempted an exorcism. When it failed the darksoul was released from my body and sought a new form to use.
Some of you were possessed by it. Others were attacked by those were possessed. Let me be clear that none of you are to blame for these actions. The fault lies solely in Mei-Xing's arrogance and my failure to protect the lives of the crew. For that, I am sorry beyond words.
Thanks to the efforts of Dean and Sam Winchester, Kang, and Celena, the darksoul has been dealt with. There will be no more future incidents. My thanks to those who helped conduct the exorcisms of the possessed crew.

dearest-nehaa.livejournal.comMy name is Vindicator Nehaalista the Kindly One of Shattrath, and it has come to my attention that I have been nominated for a seat upon the council. I am a Vindicator of the Hand of Argus, with many, many centuries of military training behind me. I realize that I am still very young, but I have fought beside you, and will continue to do so in whatever capacity you would rather have me in.
That said, my people's philosophy is one of peace, which I seek to continue here. We are well aware that as a crew, our inability to communicate with one another has led to problems in the past. I am told that the crew's argumentative nature is natural, but I can only think that this will hurt us in future conflicts both Ohm-related and crew-related.

Uh, but this is a different situation. Fact is, like it or not we're all in this together. We've got an enemy; the enemy needs its ass kicked. We can't count on anyone else to do it, whatever anyone says about other ships and lenscrafters that have your weapons in an hour and all that crap.
So, points of business for badass freakin' Councilman Zetta:
First, kick Ohm ass. Number one priority here, people.
Second, get the damn ship under control. We can't trust it or the people who created it till we've got the damn keys in our pocket, our left hands on the "stop that crap" button, and our right hands on the "do more of that crap" lever.
Third goes with second, get some freakin' rules on here. Right now the ship is calling the shots with its energy tentacles and Punishment. That's about as cool as a space heater in a lava field. We get those taken care of, then we set down our own laws about not punching people and stuff. Maybe we let the ship do the tentacle thing for safety, but then it's US calling the shots and not Ms. Absolute BDSM-Queen Alternate Personality Stacy That Makes Regular Stacy Cry.
So, in conclusion: Reasonably badass ship crew should be in charge of itself and the freakin' ship it's on, Zetta is a badass freakin' Overlord, free Prinny-pitching in the Sensoriums for loyal voters.

A little while ago, after I...woke up, so to speak, I introduced myself on this here network by the name of Bob McPlayskool. That was on a stolen comm-thingy--and I confess now that I did steal it, rather than find it. (It's been left for its owner in the hallway outside Obs Deck, by the way. My apologies, Mr. Helstrom). I always intended to give it back, but I couldn't reach the new ones without getting seen.
The truth is, Bob McPlayskool isn't my name. I made that up, which was pretty obvious to some of you.
See the thing is, I'm not human. Or an alien. Or a robot. Or anything it makes any sense that it can think and talk. I'm hoping by now everyone's just used to weirdness on the ship, but even if you are, this might still be a little strange for some of you, which is why I didn't just introduce myself before.
The fact of the matter is I'm a toy.
As in, yes, a child's plaything. A cowboy doll, to be specific. I am, in fact, the toy that Komali's been playing with for a while. I think like you big people do, I can move, I can talk--it's just usually I only do those things when people aren't looking. It's something of a rule with my kind, mainly 'cause of the possible consequences of big people finding out we're alive.
Except I got caught. I'm not exactly used to being on the lookout for cameras and motion sensors.
I suppose the rest is up to you folks. I honestly don't know what's next. Not a one of my kind has talked to people before like this and just acted like a person. I really don't know what I'm even doing here, other than breaking pretty much the most important rules toys even have, but I don't think I can get away with hiding anymore. People on the ship are too sharp. And I'm tired of being on the edges, not knowing what's going on.

I'm setting up a lodge near the river sometime soon, but I'm going to need some materials and such. (Don't worry about the lodge, it's mainly there for my comfort, a place to keep my stuff, act as a place of privacy while I work that hoodoo that I do, and a place where I don't have to sleep on a spirits-fucked throbbing mattress.)
I was all set to set things up there when I realized that, uh. I kind of don't have anything to set up in there. I'm going to be using materials from the buildings that fell over, so materials aren't a problem. But if I'm going to be performing rituals and keeping notes there, I'm going to need something that isn't an omnicomm.
So, here's my request for you all. It's pretty simple, actually. I need a dagger for rituals. Nothing fancy, something of bronze or steel would work fine. So long as it's a dagger and not enchanted by some other groggy wizhead. And I need books, or some kind of data display device, like the PDAs they have in the library. Just blank, and something I can easily input formulae and notes into.
I can steal the bed and bookshelves and desks that I need from the city, like as not, so I'm not too worried about that. But I will need things like glasses, scales, jars, a decent pot to mix and boil drek in... You know, simple alchemical stuff.
What do I have to offer in return? Gratitude, mainly. I can offer some magical tutoring, if you all would like, my specialties are primarily summoning, binding, and banishing spirits. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve. I can also offer minor enchantments to various items. Minor, mind you. I used to rely on talismongers for any fetishes or foci I needed, so I've got no great grasp on the art of enchantment. But I am studying. Don't expect me to whip up some kind of Amulet of Turning Spirits into Guacamole. I might be able to give you a pendant that helps you heal a little quicker, something for luck, or... Drek, I dunno. A rock that gives off light? Like I said, I'm no enchanter. My skills are mainly in conjuring and sorcery.
So, what do you say, chummers? Help an elf out here?

birthmuralDue to the influx of new persons and due to the fact that I have reached the end of my own teaching capabilities in this area, I would like to relinquish my teaching magical defense to someone more capable. I will continue teaching demonology and methods to repel and fight against possession. From what I can tell, Haku is safely contained in the brig for the moment, but there's no telling how long that will last. I'm sure it won't surprise any of you when I say that he's not everything that he appears to be on the surface.
I'm working on developing a tailored spell to hopefully separate the corruption from his conscious mind, so he can start fighting back on his own. But I'm going to need help with this, and not just for the power requirements.

I hope the omnicoms are working out for you, but if they're not, or you have any other tech-based questions, stop by the Engineering Department (click here for a map) any time between 900 and 1800 hours and someone will be around to can help you.
Actually, given our perpetual-shut-in nerd hours, you can pretty much go in at ANY of the hours and meet somebody who can help you.
A lot of you are from worlds where technology hasn't advanced as much as it has here on the meatship, and those of you from worlds more similar to mine may be minors still partway through your educations. Maybe you're none of these, and just interested in learning a thing or two. Some crewmembers are currently organized in conducting weekly classes on various subjects, and slots are still open for anyone who is an expert on a subject who would be willing to teach it. Please see this post for a current roster of classes and timeslots. Attendance is open, but do treat your instructors with respect, especially if they're Bene Gesserit, because 9 times out of 10 they can either out-think or out-pound you, and somehow get away with it.
This is also a reminder to current instructors to give me your chosen timeslots if you haven't yet. It may be common knowledge to your current students where and when classes are being held, but we have a growing population here.

Restoration of the Vatican
