Hi!

I'm working this properly, aren't I? Sorry, it's just taken me a bit of practise to work out. Much easier to just send an owl, but I haven't seen any around. Anyway, I'm Cedric Diggory and I've only just arrived. I'll be working in the magical department, but that's not all I need to do. I've done some thinking, and our futures are rather uncertain, aren't they? We don't know if we'll go home again, or even if we'll live. But that means we have to live while we can, right? 'Seize the day', as they say?

So I thought we could possibly have some fun. Meet me down in the Sensoriums if you'd like to learn to fly on a broom. It's more comfortable than it looks, I promise. And if I'm understanding how these rooms work properly, you'll be safe. Anyone's welcome, don't be shy! We really ought to get to know each other. Maybe we could even fly in groups if you're comfortable. There are also sports that can be played in the air, but I'd save those for another lesson.

Good day, everyone. If I may, I wish to share what I have learned from the Tapestry. I was able to communicate with it using my magic, although I was unable to discover for certain whether the Tapestry itself is magical. I was given the impression that it is somehow both magical and not magical at the same time. What I did learn is Tapestry was constructed to weave together the threads of fate, and that part of its purpose it so guide us through the choices we make. There are many possible futures, and it is our choices that will decide which one because reality. The Tapestry will also not always show us visions of possible futures - it was rather insistent that it would only show us what we needed to see, and nothing more. I beleive that it is at those times when we must make choices that will shape our future that we must look to the Tapestry for guidance. However, I got the sense that they are not the only times when the Tapestry will speak to us. I was unable to find out more, but I am of the belief that the more we learn about the Tapestry, the better we will able to use it - and more importantly, know when to use it.

Finally, I did gain one insight into our possible future. The Tapestry told me that we may indeed be able to restore out worlds. It is only one possible future, and by no means certain, but...this is at least a more tangible sign, that we do have reason to hope.

With Matt Olsen being repodded, that means a Council seat is open and since the election was so recent, I've been informed by the Council that placing second in the election means that I'm receiving the open Council chair. I want to thank everyone that voted for me. Not going to lie there, that I came so close to winning actually surprised me a little. I hope I'll be able to live up to your expectations and I thank you for having faith in me.

I also want to let you know, as promised, my door is open. I'll be available for the next five hours in my forge, and if you have any concerns you'd like me to address the Council on your behalf, now's the time to come see me. I'll be posting regular hours every week, barring some battle or disaster, for you to do in the future.

I'm also the administrator of this omnicom network. I can help anyone having difficulties with their omnicom, but I also enforce the rules. They're very simple since we have one core rule: don't hack your way into private conversations. I don't have the authority to read your private conversations, I can assure you of that.

But that isn't the main purpose of my message this time. I'm here to explain the incident with the self-proclaimed 'Emperor of Evil' you may have witnessed on the Observation Deck today. As I'm sure you heard if you were anywhere in the immediate area, his name is Lord Zedd. And he's from my universe, unfortunately.

To the leaders of the Magical and Medical Departments -

There is a man named Lord Thom of Trebond, and he is very ill. His illness appears to be magical in nature, the root cause being a taint in his magic. However, he is highly resistant to receiving help and has been concealing the extent of his illness - I only learned of it by accident. I believe that if he does not receive help, then his life may be in grave danger. I would like to request that the Magical and Medical Departments find him and seek to find a cure for his illness.

And if anyone else has the ability or knows of a way to remove a taint from a person's magic, please, tell is of your knowledge.

Hello. I would like to inquire about the possibility of starting a Blacksmiths Guild on Stacy. I believe that there are a few of us here who possess smithing skills, and a Guild would allow us to learn from each other, and to better assist the Departments when we are needed.

May I ask if there are any who would like to join such a Guild, and would its formation be permitted?

Good day, everyone. I do not know how many of you remember me from when I was here before, but my name is Daja Kisubo, and I am a blacksmith and a mage. I must apologise for disappearing for so long, especially to Allen and Billy - I know you were anticipating my assistance at Engineering. But if you still wish it, I would be honoured to once again work with your department.

As I understand it, Dustin Silver had taken ownership of my forge in my absence. I believe he has returned to the pods, but I would nonetheless like to formally request that I be recognised as the owner of the forge. I am the original owner, and I hope that official records will prove this - particularly since I spoke with the Captain on this matter.

Assuming there are no problems, I will be opening up shop soon. You are all welcome to come visit anytime you wish to discuss trade.

Calling all girls on board who like games, gadgets, or anything geeky. I was thinking we could all get together to meet up and chat at the special weapons lab (courtesy of our favorite Head of Engineering, Billy). We can play games, come up with a project to work on, or do absolutely nothing.

Sorry to all the guys out there but sometimes a girl just needs to talk to her own kind. Besides, we all get to talk during meetings or when we're all working.
