If you're going to be pulling guard duty, I need to know about any personal ranged weapons you're carrying and what kind of ammunition they take, or what you want provided if you don't feel like your personal weapons are sufficient, so I can have it ready for you before you begin your shift.

Also, this should go without saying, but I don't want anyone pushing themselves until they have to - if you're getting tired, find someone to spell you out on the lines. Ideally, you shouldn't be doing more than two 4-hour shifts in a 24-hour period.

if you are not used to using guns, do not put your finger on the trigger for any reason until you have to fire

You would not BELIEVE howmany idiot rookies shoot themselves or other people because they hav eno idea how to handle a gun, or because they saw it on TV and think it's that easy.

If we really have people aboard with that little sense, you should probably add that "until you have to fire" means "until you have visually confirmed what you are shooting at."

You may have use of me. I have not yet determined the range of my soulfire blasts. I am uncertain there are any limitations provided I can see the target, although visual contact is not required. Soulfire will not, however, work on mechanical constructs.
