Good (insert time of day) here, ship.

As many of you may have heard and some of you have even awaited eagerly, Red Robin and I will be hosting a meeting of everyone interested in teaching or learning martial arts in some capacity. Anyone is welcome, regardless of skill level or prior history.

Since I've been very kindly granted access to the WITCH Bus's training room, I think that would be an excellent place to hold an initial meeting.

Anyone who is interested in coming, please respond so we know to look for you and not to start without you! Also, if you're interested in teaching, we would like it if you came a bit earlier so we could figure out our respective skill levels, interests, and specialties.

Thanks and I hope to see you there!

Hey everyone,

I'm glad to hear that most of you are in good health or will be soon. We'll need our strength later, I'm sure.

As Captain Kennedy has already instructed you, please keep sending your damage reports to us. I've reposted the form here, and you can send it electronically to our inbox. Angie and I will be able to read it and slot your item in the repair schedule as soon as possible, with items critical for our operation as designated by Command receiving top priority.

That brings me to my second point: we're exhausted, short-handed, and haven't touched base with each other in a while. It's my fault for not being more proactive, and I apologize for that, but I intend to take steps to correct that now. Please don't rush if you're not yet feeling well, and if you haven't been cleared for release from Med Bay, do not sneak out to attend. If you're able to come, I'm inviting you all down to our Special Weapons laboratory tonight. We'll re-touch on everyone's skills, skim the damage reports, and start clustering into repair units to finish this task.

I'm also inviting anyone who may be interested in joining or training with us to this meeting. People of all skill levels can help us, and if you're not already involved in a project or busy, we'd be glad to have you with us. Don't worry, we'll have a short training unit to bring you up to speed before you join one of our crews.

-Billy

Ok guys, I'm sorry I've been hard to find lately, but I'm here. I'd like to propose a training session, two days from now, so we can evaluate where we want to go from there, and we can hang out afterward, come up with something fun to do.

What do you say?
[identity profile] riseupnchargem.livejournal.com
I'm interested in joining your organization. How do I go about doing that?
[identity profile] i-saw-myself.livejournal.com
Hey Jamie, I forgot to ask: are you okay? Fairplay sucked, to put it lightly, and that thing in the market was terrible, so...

I just wanted to do the comm equivalent of a manly pat on the back.
[identity profile] bears-omnitrix.livejournal.com
So my fellow crewmembers, did we have fun? I was hoping some people appreciated being younger or older. To the one who I borrowed the stuff from, I've replaced your stash for the most part.

Those who actually enjoyed it, tell me: what'd you think of being able to laugh and smile for a while even if it was for a while?

Those who are grumpy, well, you didn't get the punchline.

Sincerely, your prankster:

Ben Tennyson

PS: I still have some of the magical food if anyone else wants it for any purpose other than to tear around as a kid or be an adult. Just inquire at the Tennyson Household next to the only gas station in the city.

Good day, everyone. For those of you who have not met me, my name is Aibghalien, and I am a wizard.

By the latter word, I mean that I am a practitioner of a system of magic which, unlike most of those I have encountered on this ship, requires no inherent gifts or abilities beyond that of the skilled student -- reasonable intelligence, attention to duty and detail, and a willingness to learn.

As we are on this ship for an amount of time which is undetermined, but (as I judge it) likely to be extensive, I am therefore putting forth a general inquiry and offer. Wizardry is generally taught by a master/apprentice system; therefore, for the duration of the journey, if anyone is interested in apprenticing themselves, I will endeavor to teach to the best of my abilities.

This will, of course, be a true apprenticeship, though of course I understand that we all have other needs and priorities on this ship, and I will compensate and adjust for this accordingly.

Hi everyone.

For the newcomers and those that haven't met me yet, my name is Billy Cranston. I head the Engineering Department...by myself, for the moment, and I will be your temporary administrator of this omnicom network until a replacement is found.

I've just conducted a search and confirmed that Allen Gentry, my former department co-head and the previous administrator, has been returned to biostasis. His belongings have been left to me for the time being. So in his honor, I'm going to now describe the Engineering department and review the omnicom network rules.

All about the department )

As I said, I'll be your department head for the time being, but I expect we're either going to appoint another co-head or replace me altogether. Captain, Command, I await your decision on the matter.

On that note...engineers, have any of you thought about becoming a department head? It would help smooth the transition to have some willing people available.

Attention, all pilots and other squadron personnel.

There will be a debriefing on our engagement with the Ohm tomorrow at 1230 hours.

I want all of you to know that I am proud of your conduct in the fight and all of you have done the squadron proud. Well done.

That is all.

This is Colonel Tycho Celchu of Rogue Squadron. I'm looking for mechanics and engineers who are interested in volunteering for a project to help the squadron upgrade its ships and equipment. It's not necessary that you have worked with the specific craft in question before.

Attached are the technical specifications of the craft the squadron will be working with:

[attached file: technical specifications of Incom T-65 X-wing starfighter .doc]

[attached file: technical specifications of Lambda-class T-4a shuttle .doc]

[attached file: technical specifications of mobile suits .doc]

For those who are interested in volunteering, we're going to have a meeting in the sensoriums at 16:00 hours.

[PRIVATE to the gundam cast]

How would all of you feel about your mobile suits being upgraded?

I have a request: does anyone have or know of some large containers I could borrow?

New request: does anyone know of any wheeled carts I could borrow, and is anyone willing to do some manual labor for a good cause?

Quick, if you don’t respond to this message, the whole ship will explode!

Okay, just kidding, but this is still important. I’m looking to put together some information on the crew, and I can’t do it without you pitching in.

Your answers are critical! Yes, even the last one.

[Filtered to other Star Wars peeps]

Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Mara, Jaina-

Wedge told me you all were here. Is everyone okay after the battle with the Nightmare King? Do any of you need any assistance? I've only just arrived, but I'll do what I can. I also would appreciate it if we could all meet somewhere in person.

[Filtered to the members of Rogue Squadron]

Rogues- this is Colonel Tycho Celchu. I was the current commander of Rogue Squadron back in my home universe, and General Antilles has asked me to assist him with the running of this Squadron. I know you've all just been through a dangerous situation in fighting the Nightmare King, so I'd like to get a report on everyone's status. If any of you are injured or require assistance in any way, I'll do my best to provide it.

So, Rogues report.

We have had very little scrimmage time lately. I propose we have one today at 1700, in pod 3, supervised by General Antilles if he's available.

This is an announcement regarding the Nightmare King and the escalation of his powers.

As many of you may be aware, the Nightmare King's power has grown to the point where he is able to effect our waking minds. You may find yourself in places that seem like home, or like a twisted version of it, anyway. It is not real. As of now, these don't seem to be very difficult to break out of, but it's a sign of things getting worse.

Please keep in the back of your mind at all times that you are on Stacy, and the visions you are experiencing are waking dreams, that's all.

We're doing everything we can. If anyone would like to learn a meditation, a mantra of sorts for strength of spirit, I would be happy to teach it.
[identity profile] yubyubcommander.livejournal.com
Hello. My name is General Wedge Antilles. I have been authorized by the command staff to reform a certain unit out of volunteers from among the crew. This unit is Rogue Squadron. Rogue Squadron is a starfighter squadron that will operate under the direction of the command crew in the defense of Stacy against the Ohm and any other hostile forces we encounter. The craft of choice for this unit will be the Incom T-65 X-Wing Space Superiority Fighter(xwinginfo.doc).

This unit will rely strictly on volunteers to fill its ranks. I will be taking candidates and putting them through several tests. Those with previous flight experience, of any kind, are preferred and will be given predence, but I will also be accepting those without, considering the limited pool of potential applicants. Training will be provided. If you do not meet the needs and requirements for actually flying, there are other positions within the squadron which you may be able to assist in if you're willing. Considering the broad variety of craft and people aboard, if there are other fightercraft aboard with which you have experience, please let me know.

However, if you volunteer and are accepted into the squadron, I ask that you remember several things. First, that Rogue Squadron is and has been an elite unit with an operational history stretching back to the attack on the first Death Star. As such, I expect and hope that all of you who join will conduct themselves in a manner befitting the squadron and New Republic Starfighter Command. Secondly, I want you to realize that by joining the squadron you are voluntarily placing yourself into the command structure aboard this ship. As a member of our impromptu military you will be expected to carry out orders promptly and directly and to follow the chain of command. Accordingly, I'll be inducting you into New Republic Starfighter Command as Flight Officers, with a possibility for promotion in the future.

When I believe I have enough candidates, there will be more information as it stands, here is our current roster, which will be updated as this continues.

EDIT: I cannot, at this time, accept volunteers under the age of sixteen.

Commander Luke Skywalker - Executive Officer - "Rogue Two"

I'm not terribly taken with these devices, but any introduction is better than none, I suppose.

I am Satori Komeiji, master of the former master of the Palace of the Earth Spirits. Now, I suppose I am little more than a homeless youkai. I arrived along with the others during the battle against the undead.

I felt I should introduce myself properly, and now I have. Thank you.

So, I've been thinking.

Chances are, some people don't believe everything we were told about home and the Ohm. And might want proof.

Thinking about it though, seeing your universe end is really horrific.

So I was thinking of suggesting something.

I mean, we can't trust the ship, but we trust each other to a degree, right? I mean, there can't be a bunch of us who are plants.

So I was thinking, for the skeptics of the ship, maybe instead of having everyone doubting do it, because a good number of people who doubt probably are just in denial of something so horrible and it'd be bad for them to see, that only a select few people do it. Like, people who can deal with that sort of horrific thing for one reason or another.

Like I believe I could. I've been in horrible dreams before, and they felt real to me because they kind of are to me. So...I think I could deal with whatever it was that was suppressed.

And some other people might be able to deal without heavy therapy can do it too.
[identity profile] riseupnchargem.livejournal.com
I haven't met many of you yet, so I guess I should probably introduce myself. I'm Jamie Hemeros, I've been assigned to Bravo Team, and I'm originally from a planet called Zi, though for the past three years I've been somewhere else entirely. I hope we can all get along here.
