I haven't met many of you yet, so I guess I should probably introduce myself. I'm Jamie Hemeros, I've been assigned to Bravo Team, and I'm originally from a planet called Zi, though for the past three years I've been somewhere else entirely. I hope we can all get along here.

I got something like that. I've been in a box canyon on another planet away from Earth fighting a stupid war for the last three years.

That sounds pretty unpleasant. The place I was in was kind of like what's going on here, with people from a bunch of different universes all pulled together.

What planet were you on?

As for the other place I was in...one minute I was there, the next I was here. I don't know how it 'ended'. I'm hoping it didn't end, as far as that goes, unless everyone got to go home.

How should I know? It was the Red Army. And the only people that do more stupid things than the whole Red Army are the ones in my canyon. And the stupidest person there was Sarge, and he was the boss. We weren't all that big on knowing things, we mostly just shot guns at the other guys and tried not to die a lot.

Oh, so it like... stole you from a place that already stole you? Creeeeepy. Was it better than here?

That sounds like a lousy way to lead a group of people, but I guess I'm not surprised that it happened that way.

I thought it was pretty creepy, yeah. And the island was better than here in a lot of ways, I guess. It had its downsides, but there were a lot of perks too.

Which also sounds like kind of a bad idea. I mean, I guess it's necessary sometimes, but it seems like you'd get a better response out of people who're fighting because they want to rather than because they were forced to.

The food was good. It was real food, not...whatever it is they're feeding us here. That's one of the things I miss the most.

Hey, it wasn't my idea. If I had my way I'd be at home playing video games and eating bacon flavored marshmallows. But then again, knowing my luck this stupid ship would've probably grabbed me anyway.

You know what I miss? Jello. And hotdogs. And oreos.
