So my fellow crewmembers, did we have fun? I was hoping some people appreciated being younger or older. To the one who I borrowed the stuff from, I've replaced your stash for the most part.

Those who actually enjoyed it, tell me: what'd you think of being able to laugh and smile for a while even if it was for a while?

You pulled a prank?

That I did. I put tables with Age-Increasing Lemonade and Age-Reducing Brownies around the ship with big free signs. I saw some of my results. Overlord is pleased with his reactions. Yessss.

But to be honest, people needed a reason to smile, even if it is a childish, harmless and mostly victimless prank.

As long as they didn't cause any harm.

I doubt it. I mean, you didn't see anyone come into the medbay all injured right?

I just think it sort of puts a... damper on how much some of us trust others on the ship, you know? Having a snack with people to increase camaraderie is a lot nicer than tricking them.

Having a snack is fine if you want to have a nice peaceful moment. But the spice of life is often made from testing the bonds at times and some people actually enjoyed being older or younger. And hey, I came clean just to gauge reaction to a harmless prank.

The effect only lasted six hours at the most anyhow.

That was fun, but I now have a set of very tiny clothes. It was pretty scary though, not knowing if it'd wear off.

Do you know if you have a way that you could have it maybe last longer?

Ask Negi for that actually. He's got the original candy that last until you dispel it. I do have some leftovers gathered up after people started steering clear if you want the short duration stuff.

What punchline was there to understand? I was humiliated, treated as a 'cute boy', and lost hours of work time.

That's the beauty of it: with a prank of this magnitude, you learn to roll with it, and take whatever lesson you have learned from it. Good or bad. It's how life rolls really.

...I would have built smaller tools had the effect lasted long enough, yes, but..

I worried. With everything else we faced, I thought it might have been more difficult to reverse than it was.
