Overdue Introductions

I'm not terribly taken with these devices, but any introduction is better than none, I suppose.

I am Satori Komeiji, master of the former master of the Palace of the Earth Spirits. Now, I suppose I am little more than a homeless youkai. I arrived along with the others during the battle against the undead.

I felt I should introduce myself properly, and now I have. Thank you.

What's a youkai, if you don't mind my asking?

Youkai are magical or spiritual beings, seldom seen in the outside world. Most humans would recognize them only from myths and legends.

You know, it's a youkai's inherent nature to attack humans. I'd consider this a much more peaceful alternative.

Magical beings that have preyed on humans since ancient times. Modern youkai such as myself, however, find much less dangerous hobbies.

You can believe me if I continue not attacking people, yes? I have only acted in defense.

Just because you're not actively attacking anyone doens't mean you're not a threat. Though admittedly, if you were trying to go the infiltration route you would have to be unbelievably stupid to be wondering around blatantly poking around in people's heads like you have.

The demonstration would be more effective if you mentioned the mind reading before you poked around in people heads, not after.
