magic-weaver.livejournal.comI was wondering if there is anyone who would be willing to give me a small tour of Hydroponics and its plant life, or who might be able to tell me about the livestock on the ship and whether or not any of them have coats along the lines of wool. If possible, I hope to find more resources for cloth, and while I admit that this is partially for personal gain, I do believe that it would be beneficial for many of Stacy’s crew members.
I have also been advised to get in touch with Rein, who I believe handles most of the cloth-making on Stacy? If you would be interested, I have experience and skill in spinning, weaving, and sewing, and would be willing to help wherever you might be in need of it.

chosenfamilyDean's regressed again. Biggest jump yet, I think, from eleven to four. Basically, just after our mom died. So he's pretty quiet and I wouldn't take bets on him talking to anybody else who comes to the house.
That said, he's safe enough and it won't hurt to have other people around him right now. We were always pretty isolated as kids and it might do him some good to have other people around. If nothing else, I'm sure he'd appreciate having Bobby if you wanted to bring him by, Tom.

chosenfamilyRight. I know that this isn't going to make a lot of you happy with me, but it was important at the time to keep it close to the chest. I would have made this post regardless of the other news that came out today.
As you know, there's been a rash of deaging going on among the crew. What you don't know (other than Kang, at least) is that Dean's been affected. No, he hasn't been in quarantine, though he has been keeping to the house, mostly, and I've been keeping track of my own memories to be certain I wasn't losing anything.
The reason why he hasn't been in quarantine is because...well. There are dark things in our pasts. Things that I know he's told some of you about, but things that I know that he wouldn't want anybody to see him going through. Especially not in as public an arena as the quarantine quarters may have been.
However, time before the worst of it is growing short. For the moment, everything is all right, but I'm currently removing all weapons from the house. Tom, I hate to do this so soon after you've moved in, but it really won't be safe for you here. I'd like you to take Bobby and go somewhere safe. Xander, Kaylee. Would one of you be willing to take them in for the duration? I'll get Bobby's stuff sent to you before things happen.
Kang's offered to help. I'm pretty sure that between us, we can pretty well handle Dean at his worst. We'll be okay and I promise I won't be out of contact. I'll let you guys know when it's safe again.

I'd like to ask a specific favor from you, Rhiow. Is there any way to build a barrier around the house so that nobody can get in or out? I'm not sure if you can lock it to Dean particularly, since I think his name's probably undergoing some radical changes at the moment.
Also, once this is done, I think you and I need to talk about something that's happened to me. And what you may know about psychics.

On the other hand, I should probably mention that thus far, the crew member who has been the most helpful in providing information about the Yeerk-human conflict has been Iniss. If there are any details that you feel Iniss might have left out in his explanation, now would be an excellent time to provide clarification.
I can meet you in person or talk over the Omnicomms, whichever is more convenient for you.

First, the Council will be holding an open audience in Le Prefecture in five days' time. If you have any questions or concerns, or suggestions, you are free to address them to us.
Second, I am putting out an official statement about the Tower of High Sorcery in the City. It is a building from Krynn, my world, and there are a number of highly dangerous magical items inside that can severely damage or kill you if you don't know how to properly handle them. If you visit the Tower, you need to have either myself or Aibghalien Marsai present.
Lord Bight, would you be willing to act as a safety guide as well?.
Lastly, everyone should be aware of Dr. Henderson's post regarding the recent cases of memory loss, and changed behavior or appearance.
Two of the human crewmembers affected, Rachel and Marco, left the med bay before Quarantine was opened. They are a possible danger due to the memory loss; they have the ability to take the form of animals, or even other people. If you see any animals, or people, acting suspicious, please inform Security and the med bay as soon as possible.

In the wake of last week's incident and the tragic deaths of our friends and colleagues, as well as the occurrences on the mission and its aftermath, the captain and several members of the command staff have been in discussion about our next steps. Our top priority is to ensure the safety of the crew, without question. As such, we've decided to propose the idea of mandatory medical physicals for all crew members.
Given the diverse nature of the crew, the fact is that our medical staff is unprepared to deal with the wide physiological differences between various species. In case of a future medical emergency, it's important for us to have a record for you so that we know how to best treat you. When you're injured and seconds count, the medical staff's knowledge of your body may be the advantage they need to save lives.
The other fact of the matter is that physical screenings are normally routine procedure for military operations, or any kind of setting where there are many people gathered together in close quarters like this. We've so far been able to put them off, but given the recent emergencies, it's obvious that action needs to be taken.
Captain Kennedy is highly in favor of this proposal, and would like me to relay that all members of command staff and the various departments will be subject to mandatory physicals under his orders. As for the rest of the crew, that is for your council members to decide. But I would personally encourage the council to pass a similar measure for all crew members to ensure their future safety.
Physicals will be performed by members of the medical staff, including Dr. Levy, Dr. Bones and myself, in an assistance role.
I understand the concerns that many of you may have about this. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer anything that's within my knowledge.
In any case, I stand behind this measure 100% and I highly encourage our council members to consider it as well.

One of your crew mates has been planting bombs about the ship, I have been trying to stay close enough that I could learn their location and the rest of the plan. He approached me out of the blue, and I honestly thought I had more time or I would have warned you sooner. He has kidnapped and strong armed the yeerk that was in captivity into aiding him, he has also contacted one Lord Ba'al (I believe they belong to the same species, but I have been unable to confirm this one hundred present). There are devices that would disable any of our crew mates with powers. Any assistance I can offer or further information will be gladly turned over to the proper authority. I apologize for not telling you sooner, once a spy... I wanted to have enough information to mean something, rather than possibly barking at the shadows of a mad man who would never see his plan off the ground.
