Nightwing, there is a situation I have been monitoring and I finally have enough information to move ahead. One of your crew mates has been planting bombs about the ship, I have been trying to stay close enough that I could learn their location and the rest of the plan. He approached me out of the blue, and I honestly thought I had more time or I would have warned you sooner. He has kidnapped and strong armed the yeerk that was in captivity into aiding him, he has also contacted one Lord Ba'al (I believe they belong to the same species, but I have been unable to confirm this one hundred present). There are devices that would disable any of our crew mates with powers. Any assistance I can offer or further information will be gladly turned over to the proper authority. I apologize for not telling you sooner, once a spy... I wanted to have enough information to mean something, rather than possibly barking at the shadows of a mad man who would never see his plan off the ground.

It's not a misguided notion, you know, but it's not like I'm gonna rush in without any information. I did the spy thing to before.

Is the device activated around the bombs?

I know you have, Dani. And I have faith in that. What I don't have trust in is an egotistic manic not shooting the little girl he just disabled.

There's one device. He has it on him. Avoid him. He goes by 'Kawalsky' or 'Shiva'.

What sort of devices are we talking about? I'll need to let the Captain and the Chief of Security know, because it's going to mean different people go up against him. Do you know where the bombs are or anything about them that might mean we can find them with internal sensors?

The other Yeerk is - Ah, someone named Sam? Winchester? I am going to go out on a limb and say he was given little to no choice in taking a host body or not.

The traitor is a man named Kawalsky. He goes by the moniker of 'Shiva' and considers himself a god. Only mildly egotistical. He's carrying a power blocking device with him, I would suggest a very heavily armed team of normals, if given leave to.

Now those are orders I can definitely follow, I am no match for him. He approached me as a fellow "parasite" but he is not a yeerk.

Sam Winchester? Right. ~~Damn it.~~ I'll make sure the information gets out to security. I know he probably didn't have a choice in taking a host. Especially if... *Cut off because of a certain someone's message*

Okay. I've passed information on to Leon. I know I told you to keep your head down and that's important. I don't want you or Winchester hurt. But we do need to know where the hostage is. Is there a way for you to find that out without putting yourself in danger?

He has suggested if there was a way to get hold of the hostage and I'd be able to extract you both. If it's possible, great. If not, the information should be enough.

I'd be willing to try. What does Leon suggest? I am attempting to keep my ...duplicity secret. But as you passed information on to the Skywalker boy publicly, I cannot promise that Ba'al does not know, and might not pass me off to give himself more credit.

I'm more interested in finding out where he is holding the hostage. There are others who are better suited to going in and doing the rescue. I just need a place to start.

Sorry about that. The information was too important to keep to myself, but I should have locked it better. With luck, it won't come down to that. I did let Leon know exactly where I got the information from, though.

I'll do my best. What's more important, though, the hostage or the other pseudo hostage in the form of Winchester? If it comes down between choosing the boy and choosing the hostage...?

I think he's concentrating a bit more on the bombs at the moment. And keeping his own council. Not that surprising.

How much do you know of what your host knows? I mean...if I were to end up as a host, the Yeerk would know every bit of training I've ever had?

Well hopefully this will prove that my intentions are good.

In short? I become my host. I can access their memories as easily as reading a book, and quite a bit faster. It's very much like hooking your brain into a computer. If they have a special power...say, morphing, like our Andalite friends, I would also be able to access it. Most of us are able to pass flawlessly as our hosts, which includes information and memories and skills, as well as our own skills and intelligence we bring to the table.

I'll back you up, you know that.

All right. In that case, the other Yeerk should have all of Winchester's skills, if not necessarily the personality to back it up. I've only read a bit of his file, but the Winchester brothers have been been fighting in one way or another since...well, they were a lot younger than me. He should be able to defend himself if push comes to shove.

Yeah, that might be a good idea, if you can talk him into it. Hopefully, he'll realize that taking care of Shiva is far more important. I doubt he's going to be happy about the fact that he's become an unwitting host, however.

I doubt he'll be able to punch himself in the face at that point. I'm sure I can convince him that working with me will be the quickest way to freedom. If I have a black eye when you see me next, you'll know why.

Better a black eye than dead. At least you know the black eye will heal.

The attempt is being made to keep both of us out of danger. Though if Nightwing keeps asking me for more Intel that may become a lie retroactively.

And I got involved in this for several reasons, but I stayed involved because someone needed to.
