Flight Officer Charles Kawalsky's funeral, as well as the funerals for the two crewmembers lost on the pods and for Cassie Lang, will be held at 1530 this afternoon.

I expect to see all of you in attendance, if only briefly. You don't have to speak, but if you want to, I understand there will be a time in the funeral set aside for those who want to deliver eulogies.

I don't care if you didn't know Flight Officer Kawalsky or if you didn't like him - one of our own has fallen, and we will pay our respects. Come in full uniform with your firearm.

((OOC: Done with permission from zoki (Billy-mun) who was one of the omnicomm creators.))

So, Sheryl asked me a while back to make it so that her omnicomm would play certain songs and sounds when certain people posted things here.

Well, between a few projects, I managed to finish it. You can download the patch here:
[rtpatch.exe]

Just open it and run it, and it'll install itself. You can download music off the media library to use with it. If you want a user guide, here:

[rtpreadme.txt]

and if you want to get rid of it:
[rtpuninstall.exe]

it also has a silent mode.

Now, to shamelessly advertise, Stephen made a hand-held game console, and I made two simple games for them. I have a few games on my computer that I'm gonna try to make compatible, but if you want, just ask Stephen for a system and some data disks for it, and I'll copy the games over for you!

We have a full squadron of mobile suits on board now. ZAKUs and Windams.

What should we do with them?

Good evening, crew and council members.

In the wake of last week's incident and the tragic deaths of our friends and colleagues, as well as the occurrences on the mission and its aftermath, the captain and several members of the command staff have been in discussion about our next steps. Our top priority is to ensure the safety of the crew, without question. As such, we've decided to propose the idea of mandatory medical physicals for all crew members.

Given the diverse nature of the crew, the fact is that our medical staff is unprepared to deal with the wide physiological differences between various species. In case of a future medical emergency, it's important for us to have a record for you so that we know how to best treat you. When you're injured and seconds count, the medical staff's knowledge of your body may be the advantage they need to save lives.

The other fact of the matter is that physical screenings are normally routine procedure for military operations, or any kind of setting where there are many people gathered together in close quarters like this. We've so far been able to put them off, but given the recent emergencies, it's obvious that action needs to be taken.

Captain Kennedy is highly in favor of this proposal, and would like me to relay that all members of command staff and the various departments will be subject to mandatory physicals under his orders. As for the rest of the crew, that is for your council members to decide. But I would personally encourage the council to pass a similar measure for all crew members to ensure their future safety.

Physicals will be performed by members of the medical staff, including Dr. Levy, Dr. Bones and myself, in an assistance role.

I understand the concerns that many of you may have about this. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer anything that's within my knowledge.

In any case, I stand behind this measure 100% and I highly encourage our council members to consider it as well.

Hey guys it's Beastboy here calling out for a get together!

First off, are any of you guys any good at making statues? If not we can ask the adults but it would be a really good idea for us to make up statues for our lost comrades like who we just lost recently. Not only is it a totally a great way to honor their sacrifice, but it's really important for us to always remember the gravity of what we do. I know it sounds like a downer but it can be really inspiring too.

Now that I've got that out of the way next order of business, ask around and if you happen to know anyone you think might make a good addition to the team? Ask them! We can always use new members ya know?

Alright now the really important thing. We wanna get everyone together tomorrow to hang out, get to know one another maybe play a game or two, trust exercises and stuff. It's really important we get to know one another, makes friends and stuff so we can work together better. Afterwards we'll all hang out and watch a movie or two how's that sound? I'm open to suggestions for what movie to look for in the library.

...oh and for those of you who don't know what a movie is? It's moving pictures and sound that tell a story like magic. Trust me it's awesome.

Alright...I think that's everything. Old news? New news? Suggestions? comments? Funny jokes?
