General Welcome/Plotting a surprise

For all our newcomers, I'm Billy, co-head of the Engineering department. If you're skilled at any type of repair, mechanical work, or computer work---or you're not and you'd like to learn---you're welcome to stop by our laboratory. It's on the second level next to the medical bay. Someone should be there to answer your questions, and I should be in soon. Everything you need to know about is is located here. No one's going to force you to join, and I know you probably need time to recover, so don't rush! I just know how it feels to be bored and restless, and working's helped me out of a few ruts.
If you're not interested in working with us but need any type of repair done---a vehicle, robotics, a weapon, a life support suit, that's all right as well. We have a work calendar in the front where you'll be slotted in. Just know that we prioritize orders from Command and war-relevant items, but any work's welcome! It's been a while since I've worked on something simple. I wouldn't mind if it I had the time.

I'm honored to address to you. My name is Linsha Majere, I'm one of the recent podpop newbies. I'm a Knight and in my world I've been a military officer. As I understand my duty now, I should report to the officers in charge here and join the military forces in any form these officers would find me suitable to. I wouldn't like to lose time, for as I see the situation, fighters are needed for the ship missions.
Where and how can I report to Captain Kennedy or any of his subordinates?
