It's come to my attention that we now have these mandatory screenings? The health ones I understand, because hey, let's catch those alien parasites before they explode out of people, right? Very sound plan.

The psychological one, though, I'm not sure who I have to talk to about it, so I'm just talking about it here, since I figure they'll see it.

I'm claiming cultural...uh, exemption.

Talking about...things, and feelings, is not really a Viking thing to do. So I'm not doing it. Annnd you can't make me.

I would personally rather take that chance than get stabbed by someone who goes stir-crazy up here.

I've decided from all this discussion that there's a perfect solution: My not talking.

Other people can get caught out as crazies with this psychology thing and get the help they need. Anyone who doesn't want to do it can just not say anything so he can't do his thingy, and then go off and deal with their problems whatever way they're more comfortable with (in my case, the proper Viking way).

Look, I know you're all "enlightened" in the future, which is why you clearly must've stopped all violence and war, but just because there's a lot more fighting to survive in my time, doesn't mean everyone is a raving crazy. We don't all raid.
