It's come to my attention that we now have these mandatory screenings? The health ones I understand, because hey, let's catch those alien parasites before they explode out of people, right? Very sound plan.

The psychological one, though, I'm not sure who I have to talk to about it, so I'm just talking about it here, since I figure they'll see it.

I'm claiming cultural...uh, exemption.

Talking about...things, and feelings, is not really a Viking thing to do. So I'm not doing it. Annnd you can't make me.

No. This ship's made me uncomfortable. The stupid suits have me uncomfortable. Going on missions with bad intel has made me nearly dead.

I understand looking for medical problems, but the last place I have is the inside of my head, and I'm not just...pouring out to some stranger that gets to decide if I fit their definition of sane or not after all I've been through.

I doubt anyone on this ship, myself included, is completely sane, not after what happened to our worlds and the crap that happens here. As I understand it, Dr. Samson is used to dealing with unusual cases, and nothing like declaring a person unfit for duty is going to happen.

I'm sure he is professional enough that if a subject makes you that uncomfortable, he won't force you to talk.

There is no point in going if I'm not going to talk. I'll just fire off a message to the guy telling him I don't plan on talking and there you go.
