Once again we have new arrivals to the crew, so once again I post this recruitment notice.
To briefly introduce myself, I am General Trudy Chacon, the military commander of Starfighter Command, Stacy's external defense force. We are the first line of defense against the Ohm.
As with all departments on the ship, we are understaffed and constantly in need of more pilots. If you come to the ship with piloting experience, whether military or civilian, atmosphere or vacuum, consider joining Command.
You will be placing yourself in an active military during a time of war, and as such certain levels of commitment and respect are expected. Starfighter Command has a rigorous daily schedule including physical training, firearm training and flight exercises in the Sensoriums. This begins at 0500 and lasts until 1200 hours, resuming at 1230 and continuing until 1500 hours. Additional exercises may be ordered and pilots are expected to be intimately familiar with their craft.
In addition to fighter pilots, Starfighter Command is seeking bridge staff for our starcraft carrier, the
Quarter. Staffers are needed for tactical, communications and other stations.
Questions about specific craft, time requirements, rank structure and the kind of commitment that is expected of you should be directed either to me or to Captain Rtas, Commander Yamato or Commander Blanc, our ranking officers.
Additional: Attention Current PilotsCommunications Officer Reinforce Zwei has been commissioned to make uniforms for Starfighter Command. I expect all of you to report to her shop as quickly as possible for fittings. During all Command exercises, you will be expected to wear your uniform in full. I know Rogue Squadron already has an insignia for a squadron patch, but I've never seen one for Blade or Skull Squadrons. Additionally, we'll need a different insignia for the
Quarter.
((OOC: Trudy has decided on a modified Starfleet uniform from the Wrath of Khan era. dress uniforms are what they'll get first, since it was the first thing discussed with Rein, followed by duty uniforms. The turtleneck is being traded for a high-collared cotton shirt.))
