Out of curiosity, what's the policy on independent action in mobile suits...or starfighters, or what have you? Say, if I wanted to fly around and get a look at Stacy from the outside.

The Rogue Squadron would be the ones to ask for advice on that. It might not be possible while the ship's moving through the bleed, but in normal space it should work if she'll let you out.
