(no subject)

Hello, everyone.

First, I feel that there is an introduction to be had. My name is Superman, a hero who comes from the same world as those you know as Superboy, Batman and Nightwing. Unlike the others who have appeared here, I was trapped along with two others here - the one you know as the Seer and the young man named Aang.

I'm glad to see that everyone got out of this mess alive. It shows that we're strong and we can make it through everything, but what I saw in its aftermath is unacceptable. There is no reason why what I saw on these channels had to happen. The woman who berated everyone because they were not prepared was out of line - not even the best of us can be prepared for what we witnessed. And if the young lady was right about what she said, then the captain himself is out of line - as far as I can see, there are no rules nor real chain of command here concerning everything here and he had no right to pull rank like he did.

Of course, I may be wrong as I have just gotten free and I don't know everything that's going on.

Regardless, this kind of action needs to stop. As many of you know, I'm the last of my kind. I know how it feels to have lost a world. Right now, so do the rest of you. The Ohm must be stopped, but we cannot do it while everyone is bickering like little children.

A year ago, a friend of mine, in a fit of anger and mistrust, told me the last time I had "truly" inspired people was when I died. Is that what it's going to take to get everyone to listen - for someone to lose their life because everyone was so simple-minded and child-like?

I refuse to let that happen. We are going to start working together, we are going to start putting our mistrust behind each other, and we're going to make it through this together.

God dammit, finally somebody with a little sense.

All this hubris and pride and who did and didn't do what is going to get us all killed.

[Her voice is absolutely dead flat. What the hell is wrong with you people? 'Superman?' Really?!]

You'll find that with the number of standalone forces present on the ship, any sense of rank is mostly a carryover from their original worlds, or else individually driven by acquaintance. Network anarchy is the natural state when no acceptably respected authority presents itself.

[Drily] I'm sure you're more than used to making your own rules about these kinds of things.

Will you sign my guitar?

Well-said.

Excellent points, and exactly why we're striving for more order and organization on board. We finalizing a possible system of government to work with everybody here, including a civilian council so everyone has a way to give their input to work together.

We're frazzled and upset and taking it out on each other. It's not something a sacrifice would help. Most people just aren't used to being attacked that way.

It already happened.

Already happened, sir. Someone here on the crew lost his life here. And another lost part of his arm.

And I try to put my hopes ahead but... I think it's going to be difficult to get this crew to work together when there's not a crisis.

I think I like you.

Aaah, the sweet sounds of common sense.

This is unfortunately a common thing after a mission. People assess a mission and decided what was handled well and what was handled poorly. In the past I know I've been one of those people, and even in this situation I can sympathize with both parties. The woman who "berated" was my teacher, and I understood where she was coming from, since the Nightmare King didn't come at us all at once, and I also tried to get people to mentally prepare themselves for the King. Roxie, the "little girl," is also a friend of mine: she did a lot for these people and also tried to help mentally prepare these people for the King. Now, neither Roxie nor Sheeana did it the right way, I'll admit that. But they DO want to make sure that an outbreak of this doesn't happen again. I do too. I have many friends on the ship that I don't want to see hurt again.

That said, it is good to finally meet you Superman. I've actually heard a lot about you.
