Ok, somebody mind telling me why the city's deserted? Where the hell is everybody?

We've developed a cure for the ROM-199A contagion, it's been tested, and is safe. However, with the numbers of infected in the city, as well as security being tied up with containing the infection, we need volunteers to go into the city to administer the antidote.
We've modified a number of tranquilizer guns to carry the cure, to avoid close proximity with unrestrained infected, however this absolutely requires someone who can handle a gun, and is a sure enough shot to not inadvertently kill someone with the medical dart.
Anyone interested in offering assistance, please respond, ASAP.

Crew Safety Warning
We are currently dealing with a serious breach in crew security. An anti-Ohm pathogen has been leaked into the City and infected members of the crew.
The City is currently quarantined. If you are reading this from down there, see Captain Kennedy's post prior to this one.
If you see anyone behaving strangely and aren't sure if you're able to subdue them, contact security immediately. If you can, get them to containment. Symptoms of the pathogen are severely heightened aggression and loss of reasoning, we've also seen frothing at the mouth. It's transmitted through body fluids. Infected crew members will attack without warning, often unprovoked. If someone's bitten you and broken the skin or bled on you, get to containment. We don't need you running loose. Medical is working on treatment.
If you are attacked outside the City, Stacy should be able to protect you to some degree. Your priority should be to remain uninfected. Do not panic, get yourself out of the situation and get help.

In light of this... situation with the whole people getting sick... I'm offering my services in order to try and derive a cure before anything else happens.
I am... immune to all sickness, disease and biological weaponry including radiation both regular, gamma, etc. I have been documented to survive fatal diseases and cures applied to my systems has an immediate effect. If Medical would like a sample of my blood, it's genetically modified with markers denoting the use of the Muah DNA in my stream.

If you have witnessed anyone suffering from flu-like symptoms (nausea, fever, chills) that culminate in aggressive behavior, isolate them and see that the person is brought to contagion containment immediately.
I also need to see any available doctors or medics.
Does anybody have any idea what's causing this?
