(no subject)

So... if I wanted to get a place that doesn't look like the bowels of a living being, it's The City, yeah?

Do I just claim anything that looks like it's livable or is there some red tape involved I have to tangle through? Hopefully the former. I don't wanna step on anybody's toes.

I'd just find someplace no one else has claimed yet. There's no specific procedure for occupying a building.

You should watch your step, though. Some of the structures in the City are structurally unstable.

That, and there was a battle in the City some time ago. There aren't enough people to fix everything.

Yeah. You're pretty safe just taking a place that isn't being lived in.

No problem. I haven't taken a place in the city myself, but I've heard enough people do it to know that there isn't anything special you need to do.

You can always check to see if people who already claimed a place have room in the buildings they've taken. I mean, there has to be a few of them that people aren't taking up all the space in.

Well, that's great! That'd definitely help you out a lot. I mean, not moving into a place alone. Does she already have a place, or are the two of you going to be looking by yourselves.

Just take a spot. If someone shows up who owns the original place, you can duke it out then.

Word of warning, if there's sharpie marker on the door, don't go in there.

I've already been in those houses and scavenged for supplies. They don't have wiring, plumbing, etcetera anymore.

I live in the crew quarters.

Lived. They are not so bad.
fattynoparents: (ok you go ahead and hack that)

I hadn't thought to live in the city. Maybe that is a better idea.
fattynoparents: (we should call it explosion day)

Oh. Yes. Him. I will go back when I feel like it.

We could look together.

Yes. That sounds like a good idea.

Yo!

You can bunk with me indefinitely until you find a place ya like. I don't mind the company at all.

Sometimes it takes a while to get one ya really like. There's so much to choose from really. But yeah, totally. I have no probs with housin' ya.

Way I see it, if there ain't a place living for you, you should be able to find somewhere no one's claimed yet and hunker down. Plenty of empty space out here.
