I would like to nominate someone for banning from the Engineering department. I know we haven't done this before, so I'm calling a staff meeting tomorrow at 1000 hours to discuss it, because I am aware I have a bias.

Someone who gave me significant evidence that she would have difficulty in a work environment where she would be required to answer to a person of Jewish ancestry.

I'd prefer to discuss it in person. I would like to welcome you to the meeting, if you have time to be there. If not, I can present the results of the meeting to the council, or postpone so that council members can be present.

Must we even discuss this? From the sound of it, this person has displayed some sort of disgusting racial bias. That should certainly serve as grounds for being barred from the Engineering team.

I'm glad you think so highly of my feelings, but this is a democracy, not a dictatorship. EVERYONE'S feelings have to be hurt before we ban someone.
