I'm not sure how to respond to that without making you angry at me.

And while you and your friends might promise not to hurt me, do you speak for the rest of the ship, or would I find myself, like my brother yeerk, locked in stasis after a sham of a trial to make you all feel better about yourself?

Tom can see, and hear. He can even interact with the world if I wish to let him, and if you people will stop trying to kill me, I would be willing to allow that.

Tom can't talk to his brother or anyone else. He has to watch while you talk to him. He can't do anything. Tell me, just how many times has he been able to interact with the world while you've been inside his head?

I would be willing to allow that. I am willing to share... custody of this body, for lack of a better term, until such a time as a better solution presents itself.

While you're in stasis waiting for a synthetic body or whatever. I'll make sure you aren't hurt.

How will we know it's Tom?

I can't believe I'm offering this, But I'll speak to Dani. Or Allen. I'm sure they can think of something to indicate it.
