Rogue Squadron: Recruiting [ Text ]
First off, welcome aboard to all of our new arrivals. It's disconcerting to be here, I know, but we'll all be working together to get things done and hopefully get things back to the way they should be.
I'm General Wedge Antilles and I'm currently commanding our force projection unit, known as Rogue Squadron. We will, in all likelyhood, end up flying a variety of craft as well as operate on the ground as a commando unit. However, at this time we fly and maintain space superiority fighters: the Incom T-65B X-wing starfighter. We will gladly take any volunteers who wish to join the squadron.
Further we don't just need pilots. We need mechanics, technicians and hangar crew, as our current ground crew is a grand total of one. Anyone who has mechanical skill and would be willing to join up would be greatly appreciated as we also have plans in the works for modifications and upgrades to other craft.
We need pilots for shuttles and larger craft for the eventual recovery of EVA pilots, landings, possibly under fire, on planets and ship-to-ship boarding operations. Those who have skills in small arms, infiltration, demolitions and other commando related skills can speak to me or to Commander Shepard, who will be running our commando operations and training.
I wish to make it clear that by joining Rogue Squadron you will be joining a functioning military unit, albeit a volunteer one. You'll be expected to maintain our training schedule, follow orders, and treat your superior officers with proper respect. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to direct them to me.

General, I know we talked a bit about this, but there are a few of us with our own units, and we're all fairly experienced with them - I think it might be worth trying some Sensorium exercises together to see how they work out.

What kind of comm officers and logistics do you have?

And we don't have one at the moment. If you're volunteering, your help would be appreciated, since Tycho and I have been doing that in addition to our other work.

My name is Angie Spica. I'd be happy to join up as mechanic/technician/...well, really whatever you might need of me. I'm an extremely quick study, I have some piloting experience but I'd rather stick to shuttles or other spacecraft like that. I'm used to piloting something that's about half as big as Stacy. Actually, the Carrier might be a bit smaller. It's really hard to judge.

I'm Lowe Guele. I'm part of a group of technicians known as the Junk Guild. While I DO have a Mobile Suit like Kira and a few others and I CAN pilot it, I don't want to get involved in the fights. I'll help if need be, but I don't want to actually be part of it.
If you do need a tech, though, I'm your guy! Believe me, I could probably fine tune one of those things to the point where you could do things you didn't know possible!

I'm young, but I grew up in a... very formal military-like organization. Know how to take orders and follow them, I know how to keep my cool. And dude, flying a fighter would be fucking BADASS.
If you need, y'know, actual PILOTS, I guess I'm not your girl, but I need something to keep me busy or I'll go fucking nuts.

I can fly planes, but I guess I'll have to learn about these, teeheehee.

I'm sure you'll have fighter pilots who are more adaptive than I am, and with a limited number of X-Wings it would be better that I don't get one. But I am flight-qualified with more than a few slightly larger ships, if you need me.
And I seem to remember knowing how they're put together, too.

Is there anything I can do to aid the effort?

This is Char Aznable, and if you're accepting mobile suit pilots, I have just a bit of experience in that regard and in field command, and would be glad to help out.
