My name is Sherlock Holmes. I'm a consulting detective, the only one that was in existence in my world at the time of its (alleged) destruction, working most often with the Scotland Yard on the cases the police were too incompetent to solve on their own.

This post has a three-fold purpose.

1. I would like to be put in contact with whoever is responsible for criminal investigations on the ship, to possibly make arrangements for future consultations.

2. I would like to be put in contact with whoever is responsible for criminal investigations on-planet, during missions, to make similar arrangements.

3. I would like to make it known to the ship proper that I'm available for private cases. Interesting ones only please. If you're in need of assistance, contact me and we'll discuss whether or not your case has potential.

Even if the people with the 'boring' cases need your help?

If they need my help and indeed have boring cases, then when I turn them down, they'll have you as a recourse, won't they, detective? If you're remotely proficient at your job, it's hardly as if they'll be out of options entirely.
