I'm Cassie, a new addition to the ship, and I'm contacting you because a friend of mine suggested that you might need help with the animals in Hydroponics. I would like to help if that's possible. Although I've never handled animals quite like the ones in Hydroponics, I've spent most of my life surrounded by and taking care of animals from my own world with my parents, who were both veterinarians, and I would love to be able to learn more about these incredible animals and help take care of them. If I could ask for a moment of your time, I'd really like to talk to you about this.

Well, you get points for being proactive. I'll be the first to admit I've hardly glanced at most of the animals in there... aside from the snails.

You do raise a good point, though. My department is probably the go-to guys when it comes to the biology in there.

Thank you, Mr. Sera. Do you then normally deal more with the plants than the animals? I don't know as much about plant life, but I was very impressed by what I saw of it as well, even if the animals hold my attention much more.

I'm glad that I reached you though! This... system is not my favorite mode of communication sadly, but it seems to... do the job, I guess. I'd love to discuss this with you if you can spare the time.
