The pathogen has been designated as ROM-199A. As ROM-199A was tailored for use against Ohm, its effects on non-Ohm beings are theoretical. It is designed to circumvent natural biological defenses by [Incomplete] rapid increase in metabolism and activity in the lateral orbitofrontal cortex, dramatically heightening aggression.

Though highly virulent in purified form, after it has infected a patient ROM-199A is only transmissible via bodily fluids. Inert samples will last up to [Incomplete] seven days in uncontrolled environments.

No particular cure prevention was built into ROM-199A. It was thought that infected Ohm hives would destroy themselves and perpetuate infection before any cure could be found.
