(no subject)

I suppose I should mention what little I could read of the Ohm, although it isn't much.

Their minds were very alien; I couldn't understand any of their thoughts. All I could sense was immense anger. It seemed disconnected, somehow, too... as if their minds were not their own.

None of this seems particularly useful, but I thought I'd share what I learned regardless.

Were you able to tell what they were mad at? Like...us? Zokez II? Life, the universe, and everything?

It seems although they are unintelligent beings. Based on their behaviour and what you learned... I would assume they are largely a social species, with perhaps primitive instincts - based mostly on aggression. Of course, this is merely speculation, but such a species is often all the more deadly.

Either explanation is equally plausible, but not mutually exclusive. They may work akin to a colony, with a 'queen,' so to speak, directing them - as 'slaves,' as you put it.

Easier said than done, but it does simplify matters. There is no need to fight an entire army, if that is the case.

Precisely. There is too much speculation, at this point, for my liking.

I believe that would make sense. My observations revealed that their attacks were all far too coordinated. They were attacking as if they all shared one mind. It was a rather disconcerting discovery, and I believed that they were merely super-sensitive to each other- possibly even highly intelligent if they were all able to analyse our strengths and weaknesses and strike with such organization without any noticeable form of communication... but if it seemed that their minds are not their own, then I agree with what you said about them being slaves to a Queen.

Did you happen to notice where the swarms were thickest? They would want to protect their Queen... That is, if she was out on the battle-field...

I would like a chance to read through the reports of the battles that others submitted. Perhaps someone else saw something useful. Otherwise I could question the people who were at a greater distance, preferably others who could fly and were flying.

Do you know who comprises the Strategy Team? I have been meaning to join them, however we had shore-leave just as I became accustomed to the ship.
