An apology

Hello, everyone. My name is Sam Henderson. I guess I'm new here, and I'm afraid I've made a horrible first impression on some of you.

I want to whole-heartedly apologize for the harm I've caused to Ms. Uhura, the near-harm caused to Fletcher, and others whose names I don't know. There was also a man in an orange flight suit and another young woman.

I make no excuses for what I've done, and if there's anything I can do to make amends for it, please let me know.

I would also like to offer my sincerest thanks to Ms. Katara, to the two young ladies that rescued Fletcher, those that came to Ms. Uhura's aid, and the gentleman in the flight suit's feline companion for preventing anything truly horrible from happening. Spike, I know you told me to stop whining, but I do thank you for your help.

This is all horrifically embarrassing, both personally as a fellow crewmember, and professionally as a doctor. By trade, I am a trauma surgeon. I'm supposed to help people, not hurt them. I would still like to join the Medical team here on this ship, but I expect I should take some time to get my head around these circumstances. However, that said, if something should happen and more hands are needed, please don't hesitate to call on me. I would like to help however I can.

Nobody was permanently injured, this shouldn't be an issue. I'm another person who would find myself most valuable to medical staff.

Apology accepted. Given the circumstances you woke to, I can't blame you for your actions, as I am sure others have reacted in especially difficult ways before. Hopefully you will be able to contain yourself in the future--which I have no doubt you will be able to do if you set your mind to it.

That said, I am partially responsible for my own injuries as you did warn me off. I apologize for failing to heed your warning.

Well, its where I'm from. My tribe is in the Southern Pole, and I'm a waterbender. It means I can manipulate water, wherever it is.

As for that side of yourself...it seems you are not the only one who has those attributes. Strangely enough, in your current state you are the most tolerable.
