To my colleagues and comrades among the crew,
Emperor's Blessings, my friends.
My name is Brother Cargn Thane, Grandmaster of the Grey Knights and High Seer of Titan. I am also known to the crew simply as the Seer. However, now that I have been released from my self-imposed imprisonment and the battle with the King of Nightmares is concluded, I would prefer to simply be called Brother Cargn over those rather pompous and pretentious sounding titles, though it is your freedom to call me what you wish.
I am quite relieved to see that we have made it through without any major casualties. I had expected there to be at least several deaths, but I suppose my line of work has made me tend to expect the worst.
But it is this point I wish to stress: We are alive.
I see some among us choose to debate over whether this is thanks to a handful of people or to the efforts of the crew as a whole. I say that, at the moment, it doesn't really matter. Surely, in future situations, the crew as a whole must better prepare themselves, and heed the advice of those who better understand the foe that will be faced, but at the moment, that is neither here nor there.
Instead of using this as an opportunity to tear ourselves apart, let us use this as an opportunity to learn from our mistakes. If we divide ourselves over this, we only weaken ourselves. While a healthy dose of skepticism and paranoia can keep you alive, too much mistrust will only serve to tear down what little strength this crew has left.
So I ask you, should we continue to divide ourselves over petty matters such as this, or should we work to strengthen ourselves so that we may ensure our victory and survival in the many conflicts that are yet to come? I believe the answer is simple.
On another note, I have recently discovered a Shrine of the Aquila in the depths of the city. Though I am sure most of you would find the teachings of the Imperial Cult to be...rather harsh....you are free to visit and use it for spiritual contemplation as you see fit while I see to its restoration, so long as you do not disturb others who wish to use it. I shall be using this shrine as my residence for my stay on this vessel, so those of you who wish to speak with me may find me there.
I also intend to perform a divination on the course this vessel shall take in the near future. If you are interested in observing the results, you are free to seek me out.
Your humble servant,
Brother Cargn Thane
Thought for the day: Though the Emperor guides me, it is I alone who walks the path.

I suppose not.
You too have my thanks for all the effort you and your team put into preparations.
