These results are far from satisfactory.

Alright, look. I can get everyone here off this ship. I've looked around for a little bit, got a map, got a roster, and did some discovering for myself. I think I've figured things out for the most part, so don't bother trying to tell me what I already know.

If what Shitface told me is even remotely true, then this AI 'Stacy' is repairing itself. Is anyone trying to help? Isn't it obvious that things will go a lot smoother once it's been fixed up? So here: my good deed for today, I'll go fix the goddamn AI, since nobody else is volunteering.

Now all I need are my tools. They should be with a red backpack and various other assorted items either in the Special Weapons or Main Armory areas. I'll probably need someone to get me clearance at least into the Armory. From there I can take care of things myself.

Otherwise, I'm looking for someone. Her name's Dakota Perkins; she might be going by 'Codi' or possibly 'Thalia' if she's in one of her moods. She's about 5'4'', twenty-six years old, and has bright red hair and freckles. I need to find her and tell her I'm awake.

There are people working on repairing the AI. However, Stacy is just as much organic as she is a machine. It's a hell of a lot more complicated than just replacing a few parts and redoing some code.

But since you're volunteering, contact Batman, since he heads up that department.

Hey, just a quick thing: the story about what happened to our worlds might be bullshit and it might not, but there's a good reason why we don't question it. Stacy's capable of monitoring us from inside our heads, too, and there's no reason to assume she isn't sending back all the information she collects to her overlords, the Daligig. Sure, we've got espers, but I think the ones she popped, she did because they couldn't block her out - so the more doubts we raise in places where she can hear them, the further ahead of us the Daligig get. I think you can see the wisdom of buying into what we've been told in the meantime.

...You didn't understand a thing I just said, did you.

I'm not here to spread doubt - just common sense. You think Stacy can't passively record everything we think, say, and do, analyze it later, and distill it down to the essentials in reporting back to the Daligig? That's why there's no plan yet - there's no point in making one when it'd be in their hands the moment we come up with it.

Just so you know, we've already got someone on board with an intellectual capacity some orders of magnitude greater than entire Earth-type planets, and the overall capacity of this ship's thinking systems is still considerably beyond him.

Perhaps so, but you might wish to wait until he returns from the planet this ship is currently orbiting to make the attempt.

You're going to run into another difficulty if you attempt that: the locked-down status of systems because of the damage means that no one actually has direct access to the ship's "brain" at the moment.

I don't think there's anyone named Dakota on board. Sorry.

Um...okay? I'm sorry, but that's the truth.

I thought you meant awake, sorry.

Maybe you should be more clear. That whole 'tell her I'm awake' thing? Implies that you're looking for someone else who's awake. So try that next time instead ripping into someone who's just trying to help you.
