[There's a slightly surprised silence for a second. Leon is on the command staff? Go figure.]
I just wanted to address a couple concerns I've got regarding the flow of information... I noticed quite a few entries that I was locked out of before the shit hit the proverbial fan, and I can't help but have flashbacks to when I was still working with S.T.A.R.S. Wesker never really told us jack shit until we were on the chopper heading out to a mission... I'd like to see that changed for the most part...
We're not trying to keep people in the dark. Problem is, if you haven't already noticed, whenever there's at least three people in a room together, two of them have to start arguing, and everyone else has to slow down because of them. Things get locked just so we can make sure we have our facts straight, things don't get muddled down by needless arguing, and it gives us a chance to get our shit together before we address the crew.
...I'm alright. Recovering, but busy as hell. You still stuck in the Med-bay?
I understand that, just, once you get those facts straight, I'd like to see some of those locks come off, y'know? I just don't like the whole faceless council and stuff. And that is probably just because I've not been here long enough to be acquainted and such.
Good to hear. And yea. I'm still stuck here. Claire's not letting me leave for a while yet...
Oh, I heard that there was some survivors down in the pod caverns? Anyone we know?
Yeah, I hear ya. And I'll bring that point up with the rest of Command. They were all chosen by the crew, or, rather the crew at that time. It's only been a couple of months since then, but this crew has doubled in size... possibly even more. We all try to make ourselves available for everyone, but its not easy.
Tell you what, now that we've got real booze, tobacco, and food, I'll swing by soon and drop off some of each.
...Someone I know, though I can't say I'm thrilled to see'm here. But that's more a personal thing than ship business.
Ugh.. I'll appreciate any kind of cigars. Thanks man. I appreciate it.
[There's a moment of silence as he thinks back to the report he read.]
...The same Ada Wong that showed up during the Raccoon City incident, and then again during the Illuminados incident? The one that took the plagas sample to Wesker?

[There's a bit of a wistful sigh on Chris' end.]
Hm? Who? Remember, I've read your reports, so if you've mentioned anyone, chances are, I'm at least familiar with 'em.

...does the name 'Ada Wong' ring a bell?

Yeah, that's the one. But she's my situation to handle.

...Does Claire know?
