[Directed mainly at the Outsiders, but open to everybody]

I know everyone's still recovering from the ordeal, but the sooner we all get back to training the better. We need to be prepared, don't we?

For those of you I haven't met, I'm Nanoha Takamachi. Back home, I was an instructor in aerial and magical combat, so if there are any of you who want to train in those fields, I'd be happy to work with you and train together.

I'll be in the Sensoriums every morning. You're all more than welcome to join me, and I'm looking forward to meeting everybody!

I'm a youkai. While my magic is inherent rather than learned, the application is similar.

A youkai? ...you're a spirit from Japanese folklore?

I wouldn't say I'm FROM Japanese folklore, but I suppose I ended up there.

Is there any chance you'll explain what you mean by that?

Myths must come from somewhere, yes?

So you're saying that some of the youkai myths are about you?

Maybe not me specifically, but my predecessors. I'm relatively young.

Well, youkai or not, that doesn't mean we can't meet and see each other's magic, right?

What manner of magical combat do you utilise?

I'm strongest in mid-to-long-range destructive magic, but I know some other Mid-Childan magic as well. I don't think you'd be familiar with it, though.

The name is not familiar, no.

Magic in my world is linked to the six elements. I am adept in Shadow magic - it is in opposition to Light magic, if yours is anything like that.

Well, elemental magic exists, but it's not a requirement.

I'd like to see what you can do. What's your name?

It isn't so much that magic in Hyrule must be channeled through an element as that each new form of magic is classified as one of these elements. There is some overlap - much Shadow magic has similarities with Spirit magic.

What does your magic involve?

Usually channeling power into beams or projectiles of some sort that explode on impact. There's a bit more to it than that, but it's... easier to show than to explain.

Hmm. Offensive magic is usually categorised as fire magic, but there can be a fair bit more to it, yes. Some of the Shadow magic I use can be used for offense.

I see. Well, it's always easier to demonstrate rather than tell, right?

You'll have to show me what you can do.

I don't know about aerial, but magic... I guess I could use a few pointers.

Chaos.

My world had a set of gems known as the Chaos Emeralds. My power came from those gems. The more I have at hand, the stronger. While I don't doubt our saviors have brought them on-board, I know I'm gonna have to do without them until we can find them.

I specialize in mid-to-long-range destructive magic of the Mid-Childan style. But I can do some other things, too.

Can you do anything without the Chaos Emeralds?

I'm not helpless without them - the Chaos Emeralds only amplify my powers. The technique I use with them is known as Chaos Control. Essentially, I can bend time/space to a certain degree. I can also unleash bursts of Chaos Energy as offensive measures.

I fear, though, what I know isn't enough and I need to... expand.

I understand. I'll help you push your limits.
