I don't feel too bad. It hurt a lot when it first happened, but it's pretty much just numb now from the bandage and painkillers.

That's always tough question to answer, since with hindsight, having more time and a less stressful environment lends itself to uncovering what would have been more effective reactions to previous stimuli.

If you did the best that you could with the time that you had given the circumstances, then yeah, you did everything you could.
