open to all - bendytimed to before the fauxbellion

Hello! My name's Elle, and most of you won't know me because I'm still fairly new on the ship. But I've got a question to ask and a proposal to make.

While exploring the City, I found a building from my home. It's called the Lucky 38, and it's a casino from the New Vegas Strip. It has blackjack tables, roulette, and slot machines, and all of it's functional and all the parts you'd need to play are there -- cards, balls, even chips. Back home, its doors were closed to the public.

But, I've been thinking about opening it up here on the ship and turning it into a working casino. There isn't a currency on board, but that won't be a problem. I'm thinking that there could be tables open where you would bet only chips and play just to play, and then there would also be tables where you would be able to bet trade goods. Maybe we could even hold tournaments where all of the trade goods put into it can be kept for the next podpop, so that we can have a storage of... uh, things to offer the people who come out.

Anybody interested? There'd be no point in setting all this up if no one comes to play. And if you've got any experience with running poker games and might be interested in dealing at the tables, I'd be more than happy to have you on board.

I'd be glad to lend a hand to get things up and running, I don't mind. I've helped fix up a lot of the buildings in the City so this should be fun.

It'll be interesting to see a casino run by someone other than goblins.

Me too. I have a suite upstairs too so now I have a better place to sleep regularly that isn't the barracks.

The building itself is actually in fairly good condition, at least according to standards back home. The electricity even works. But you could at least help me clean up and get everything looking nice. Thanks!

As far as goblins, they're one of the races from back home. Their entire goal in life revolves around money. It's the most important things in the world to them and they're very good at it.

Of course, they go to any lengths to acquire it...

It could be interesting. I'm not much of a gambler, but I wouldn't mind learning how to play blackjack. It seems like an interesting challenge.

Then the chips-only tables would be best for you! I'd be more than willing to teach you how to play. Maybe for the first week or so when it's open I should have tutorials for people who don't know how to play. I can't imagine every world out there has blackjack.

I'm sure I could learn fairly quickly. It seems like a logical enough game. We did have blackjack at home, but I never had a reason to take interest before.

Haha! Actually, yes! They're less machines and giant robot cops, but we could use some help making sure they're all in order.
