[Locked to Council and Command]
In light of Howard's post and the discovery Sakura made about the previous crew, it is more than obvious that we can no longer continue as we have been, waiting to see which way the rat is going to jump before we pounce - if you'll forgive a feline expression.
It seems that our most immediate roadblock in taking full control of the ship is the Warden, the portion of Stacy's programming that hinders most of our actions. I understand that Neuropathy has been focusing more on repairing Stacy's damaged systems, but as I suggested to the Captain a moment ago, perhaps our resources would be better spent finding and destroying the Warden portion of Stacy's program.
Whether we trust her or not, it's clear Stacy cares about us. If we can get rid of the Warden, we may be able to persuade her to come to our side instead of the Daligig's, but the Warden has to go first. It would likely be difficult, and probably dangerous, but it's our first step. We may be able to remove it without the Daligig knowing - do we have an estimated time when they will be leaving the ship?
((OOC: This is locked to Council members and high-ranking members of Command, like the Captain, first officer, and department heads.))

We're sure as hell not ready to pull this off, though. I'm all in favor of doing what you're suggesting, but we gotta be ready as hell when we pull that trigger.

We need to present a course of action. If we sit by idly while this is common knowledge on the ship... well, they're already not fond of us.

I gotta qualify this. Yeah, I'm evil, but I think the record'll show I've generally been 'crew first' when it comes to the important decisions. So try and take this in that spirit, rather than the 'how are you so evil?' spirit.
But if I was aiming to beat someone stronger than me -- not that that person exists, but for the sake of argument, if I was, then I'd be distracting that person with one juicy, obvious target while I got all my ducks in a row for a big and decisive attack.

If you're suggesting what I think you're suggesting, that could go spectacularly badly unless we came down in a show of force and put a stop to it shortly after it started. We can't have the Daligig thinking that those of us 'in charge' are a bunch of mouse-brains who can't control their own people.
Which raises a whole set of new complications, mainly mutiny.

Ugh. Someone owes me for my damaged pride.
Question is, do we trust any of our real rebellious sort enough to clue them in?

Ildraniath and I have had our differences but at one time we were able to communicate. It might not be a bad idea to send General Chacon to talk to the pilots who are agitating, even if one of them technically isn't her pilot anymore.
Truthfully though, I'm not sure how receptive they'd be to a plan that includes their plan failing spectacularly, mutiny charges and brig time.

If this way's more likely to work -- and it IS a hell of a lot more likely than just thinking we can beat the Daligig, the ship, and everything it can hit us with -- well, the hero sorts never mind being martyrs.

Do we have a head for that department? Or should I simply speak with the senior staff?

With the recent re-poddings, I would say speak with the senior staff.
