The Vatican [Bendytimed around the dungeon plot]

To the crew at large:

My name is Tarrant and I was awakened during the most recent pod release. One of my personal specialties is performing what many of you would no doubt term 'magic'.

In light of what I've learned about the continued appearance of threats posed to the safety of the ship and its crew, I've decided to make it a little project of mine to reinforce some of the strongholds the crew has traditionally retreated to during times of emergency. I have already begun constructing some Workings around the Vatican that I think will be quite useful in the event of another attack.

You can thank me later.

[There is a separate little image attached containing a swirl of elegant letters -- it's Tarrant's signature.]

Awww, do you have to? Can't you fix anything BUT the Vatican?
greeedycat: (so i was putting it on backwards?)

I just don't like the Vatican. What it stands for, yadda yadda, whatever. I don't get why everyone goes and camps out there when it's easily crumbled, always in need of repair, and there's better places to hold up in the city if/when we get more attacks.

tl;dr I'm nitpicking people's strategic sensibilities I guess?

Hold on.

[He's gotta look at his handy-dandy PLACES I CAN PROBABLY HIDE IF MY BODY EXPLODES list and cross-reference it with his PLACES THAT ARE STRUCTURALLY SOUND AND ALSO NOT THE VATICAN.]

...if you're ambitious, go try fixing the Great Wall or something~ But Angkor Wat's seemed like a better idea to me~ Complex layout, spires, close enough to the train's loop without being right on top of it, right on a water source, think there's a moat? Oh, and if people get stressed holding up there they can look at the naked women statues.
