Engineering: Infrastructure and Other Projects

Greetings all, especially those new amongst us.

I am Celena Vantari, I am the current head of the Infrastructure sub-division of Engineering. If you have experience in the construction or design of buildings, furniture or in any form of infrastructure related construction, or even just a will to help, please contact me if you are interested.

On that note, there is a current project available for those involved within the infrastructure sub-division. Sabrina currently requires assistance in the repairs to Gym to facilitate training. Repairs likely required include repairs to the ceilings and floors as a priority as well as the replacement of doors and assorted fixtures where required.

You have experience with Gates or Gateways do you not? I would be interested in your thoughts on a particular project of mine you may have heard of should you have the time.

I was the lead technician of Grand Central's Gating complex, yes. What kind of project are you talking about here? Because interdimensional travel is a little out of the question while in the Bleed.

The project in question is a Paired gateway system that utilizes two connected gates to allow instantaneous travel between one location and another within the same plane of existence. It has been tested successfully while in universe while back on Xaxing, however I am looking into manners of stabilization for use on ship while in Bleed.

To be honest, Stacy probably should have a Gating complex. The hyperstring structure naturally forms into a central catenary structure, and Gates spring off of that structure in response to the accumulation of sentient life. I'm amazed we haven't tripped over at least one Gate already.

That is assuming it even works the same way here.
