Safety Announcement

I realize I cannot speak as the father of anyone awake on board, but I would nevertheless, in light of a recent occasion, want to remind all the young people of the ship to be very careful when active on the more disrepaired buildings of the city. Especially alone. There will not always be sudden flying boys to catch people when something gives way or footing is lost.

A dark-haired young man, somewhat older than you, caught the young lady when she fell. It was rather surprising, in fact. He looked human otherwise. But very fortunate.

We have never understood the human obsession with names. It was the young lady who turns to stone, and a black-haired, blue-eyed boy of about 18 in denim trousers, moving at barely sublight speeds.

It identifies them, is why, in case it was someone I know that I have to yell at. You wouldn't like it if I saw you and said "hey guy" would you?

Considering that verbal communication is all you can do, it would not bother me, but I do know it is important for humans to distinguish with words.

The reference was to my species. Our oppressors call us Ternaui. Our friends call us Dragons.
