Hello to the residents and crew of Transmigration 9!
I am probably already known to some of you, but I believe it's time for a formal introduction. I am Dr. Samuel Henderson, Head of the Medical division. While I may appear at a glance to be far too young for the role, I would like to assure you all that appearances are deceiving.
My purpose today is to remind and inform you all that we are currently conducting mandatory physicals for all crew members. This is so that we may have a database of information from which to pull should it ever become necessary. What we'll be doing is a routine physical exam, bloodwork, have a conversation about your personal medical history, and, if applicable, about anything distinctive of your species that most people don't know about.
I want to assure you all that while I know a lot of people dislike being examined unnecessarily, this information is vitally important in a crisis, so that we do not do something that will harm your further. I assure you that we'll do our best to make sure the process is as quick and painless as possible.
I would also like to take this time to get our personnel a bit more organized, as obviously, conducting all of these physicals will not be a one-man job. If anyone with medical or healing skills of any kind could please either respond to this message or stop by the med bay at your earliest convenience, I would like to know what sort of specialties we have present. Of particular interest are those with ER and triage experience, since this is a war, after all. But don't let that keep you from stepping forward. Anyone with any kind of skill that may be useful in Medbay is encouraged to come forward.
Thank you very much for your time! And remember, there's always someone in Medbay if you ever have any concerns or if there is ever an accident.
--Dr. Samuel Henderson
((OOC: These physicals are being considered to be conducted in the background, so no need to thread them! But this is shipwide policy.))

I am Dr. Faiza Hussain, from the United Kingdom. On Earth. One where magic exists and there was a Skrull attack. It would take a while to explain.
I actually do have a fair amount of experience in emergency medicine and triage, as well as surgery. And I have some specialized skills that allow me to...well, deal with the worst sorts of wounds, so long as they are fresh when I get to them.
I would be more than willing to speak in person on these matters as well.

((Incidentally, Signum is probably going to do a triple-take when she sees Dr. Henderson in person, just because. She'll get over it quickly, though.))

Anyway hi! I'm Allenby. I know first aid but I've never had to use it outside of training. But if that's ever helpful let me know!

I'm glad to hear the examinations are under way. Please let me know if you need any database help.
I've taken some emergency medical training, but it was geared to a much less humanoid-centric crew than this one. I would appreciate the chance to learn more.
