Okay so I've been here a few weeks now and I have some questions I REALLY want answers to.

1. How many people are from a place called Earth?
2. If you are does it have Gundams?
3. If it does what do you use your Gundams for?

So far it seems like there's at least THREE Earths with all different things and they're obviously real to the people who are from there. With the same continents and all but everything else is DIFFERENT and I don't get it at all! So I'm trying to get answers to make it seem less crazy.

ALSO: Is there any way to make Stacy pop someone out of the pods that you know is there or does she just decide that on her own?

Well if they existed ANYWHERE you'd probably know about it. Gundams are really hard to miss wherever you are.

I agree; I was scanning the local media channels fairly carefully for events that might explain my being stranded.

Unfortunately the worlds (multiple Earths) seem to be closely enough in parallel that it's really hard to tell them apart from one person's memories and viewpoint.

It sure seems that way. But the more information we have the easier we can figure it out, right?

Agreed. I wonder if anyone has set up a database of the people here, where they are from (distinguishing characteristics of their homeworlds), and who they are looking for. If they have, I hope the database is stored somewhere that it cannot be modified or deleted by Stacy.

That's not a bad idea. I don't trust Stacy too much either. Are you good at computer systems?

It's not so much a matter of not trusting her: from the sounds of it her systems are in bad enough shape that she might delete a file by mistake, or because some sub-program optimized the storage it was in. And that's leaving out the whole 'making people forget things' routine that seems to run sometimes.

I've worked a lot with AI's in the past, yes. Computer systems differ from dimension to dimension, obviously, so I doubt I can just look at Stacy's code and see a 'quick fix.'

It is a problem, but one that Stacy may not have any control over.

You might want to do some research on the term 'GLaDOS' in the ship's systems, and ask around. I came across mention of it while trying to see which AI's were active in-system. The memory thing is not something that seems to be currently running (I think it was repaired?) but there were issues.

Yeah I'll do that. This ship is creepy enough without even MORE stuff getting into people's heads and making them FORGET.

I wonder what the memory editing was originally intended for. Maybe to help break up prison riots by making all the rioters forget who they were angry with?
