Has anybody seen my Zoid?

Hi, I'm Vega. I'm 11 years old and I'm on Team Papa. Anyway I'm looking for my Zoid, it is the Berserk Fury. Somebody said the stuff we usually use a lot came here with us so I don't know but I think the ship might have brought him too. I know some of you don't know what Zoids are but there these really big robots that we use for battles where I'm from okay? I don't know if he's here or not but if he is and you see him please tell me. I miss him a whole lot and he would be really helpful to have. I drew a picture of him so you will know what he looks like.



Fury is 12 meters tall. He doesn't like people that aren't me very much so if you find him don't try to pilot him. He might hurt you and that wouldn't be very good. Thankyou!

I don't know what a Mobile Suit is either. Are you trying to ask me if its armor like the lady that posted down there asked? Because he's not. Not to me anyway.

I don't know what she was asking you, but... a Mobile Suit is a human-shaped machine, usually controlled by a human pilot sitting inside. Mobile Armors are... like that, in a way.

I don't think there are any human shaped Zoids. That would be weird. There are Iron Kongs though that look like gorillas.

Zoids all look like animals and dinosaurs and stuff. The cockpit is in its head so you kind of get to be its brain a little bit. Its neat.

Explain to me, if you please, what exactly a Zoid does and how it differs from self-aware mechanical armor.

We use Zoids for battles and tournaments and things. Armor can't shoot guns and stuff and it would be really silly to have armor that looks like a liger or a dinosaur or a wolf or something instead of a person. Its not the right shape.

And you use controls. In armor you just move. I think.

Ah. Where I come from "armor" is a rather wide-reaching word, meant to encompass any mechanical structure, either requiring a pilot or not, that is used in warfare.

So it would seem your Zoids are more specific than that. However, they are self-aware to an extent, am I correct? You said that it would dislike being piloted by another other than yourself. Is your Zoid capable of moving without a pilot? What are the purposes of the battles you engage in?

Oh, okay.

Yes Zoids can kind of think for themselves a little bit. But its not a lot. My Fury is special. He's an Ultimate X. That means he has an Organoid system so he can learn from things and remember how enemies fight so he gets better and better at fighting them. He's not supposed to move without me but he can, mostly when he gets really mad. We have battles in tournaments and things. They are lots of fun! You battle to win and when you win you go up in ranks and there are harder teams to fight and it gets more interesting.

I'm not sure. I know it is not for war though. We do it for prize money and to get a better rank. Then you get to be famous.

So I guess its for money? I mostly do it because it is a lot of fun.
