This isn't Brainy, it's Brenda. I managed to escape and get the comm-thingy B4 left to Brainy send his messages through his mindlink thingy. I'm trying to get out of Brainiac 4's lab but I keep getting turned around.
All right, Brenda, I need you to stay calm and tell me what you can sense about your surroundings. Start with the things you can see, then go to the things you can hear; we might be able to find you through one of those.
I just found a way out. I'm in the hangar now, but I think they're still chasing me.
[ooc: Anyone can answer to this part, but the log part is only going to involve the people who signed up who sort of organically got involved in the plot as it went on. That said, would you like to have it so Cole gets to the Hangar just as that group is teleported away to see it? That way he can have a part telling the rest of the crew/Security he saw them teleported as part of the trap. The sooner Security/Engineering acts to get them out of it, the better off they'll be, so that would have it so Cole definitely helps them out.]
OOC: Is ok if Cole has no idea what's going on, because I don't really?
[ooc: It's fine if he doesn't know what's going on and is just trying to help. As for what the situation actually is, there's two old crew members, Brainiac 5 and Brenda Del Vecchio that were captured by Brainy's evil mad scientist mother and imprisoned in a secret lab deep inside the ship. She tortured Brainy into going crazy and shutting off his emotions, and Brainy kidnapped another friend (Danny Phantom) to "study" him, who got free but is trapped hiding in the lab, and he kept Brenda as his prisoner/lab assistant, subtly protecting her from his evil mother. Before he lost it, he'd been communicating off and on with the rest of the crew who have been trying their best to find and save them for a long time. In this, it SEEMS like Brenda got the communication device and is trying to get free to be rescued, but it's actually Brainy pretending to be Brenda and luring some people into a trap.
(Does that all make sense?)
As for finding it, Cole would probably be able to find the hangar fairly easily. I'll put up a post tonight or tomorrow where everyone shows up and link to it here. and set up a place for Cole to witness what happens so he can go on the omnicoms and tell people what he saw. Sound good?]
